So you've come out to your Montauk home and you realize that there is a lot of stuff that you need to do. You might have to call a landscaper, negotiate for a plumber or buy some groceries. Perhaps you really can't take care of all of this stuff because you need to plan the weekend party you are hosting.
If your weekend is turning into too much stress and not enough relaxation then you should call Mani Malee and Samantha Cole of the Hamptons Angels. Their company is essentially your year-round Hamptons personal assistant, minus the salary. "We're getting a lot of customers in Montauk because Fresh Direct doesn't deliver out to Montauk. The homes there are just so gorgeous, I love that we are getting more clients in Montauk." Cole told me.
A daughter of Watermill, Samantha was signed by Universal Records in college and toured all of southeast Asia and the United States and also toured with the top selling artist Shaggy. She earned herself worldwide fame while singing. According to her, being a professional singer was amazing, but she always knew that the East End was home.
After leading a life that had her commuting between New York and Los Angeles, Samantha decided that she wanted to start a business. While working out at Radu in Southampton, she met her business partner, Mani Malee, who also shared her desire and the two got the idea to start a party service business.
Within weeks they were throwing a bachelorette party for seventeen girls from New Jersey. Using their nightclub connections in the music industry, they found a niche for taking people out for fun nights on the town. Mani came up with the Hamptons Angels name and before they knew it they found themselves running a concierge, service, party and planning service.
Montauk is a very relaxing place and relaxation is the whole reason people come out to stay here. But when tasks begin to build, relaxation goes out the door. What is great about the Hamptons Angels is that they are like a pay by the task executive assistant, which can make things as easy as pie.
The duo can ready your house in Montauk, plan a spa weekend or book a hotel for you. They also can make recommendations for restaurants for you and even take care of the reservations. "We are basically a service broker. A one-stop shop that can take care of everything."
One of the most interesting services they offer is their night out planning service. The Hamptons Angels can get you to the front of the line and in the door of just about every major nightclub on the East End and in New York City as well. Samantha says, "That is always a lot of fun to plan."
In Montauk, Samantha and Mani recognize the need for their service moreso than in other areas because of the extra distance that a person has to travel to get specific things. "We have relationships with a lot of different services in the Hamptons who put our clients first, which is really important. What makes us unique is our experience in dealing with all of the different things that a Hamptons or Montauk homeowner needs to take care of."
With an easy to remember name like Hamptons Angels, a solid business structure and a hard work ethic, the pair have managed to become the talk of the town. All of this is good news to Samantha and Mani who are now looking into growing their business model into other parts of the country.
Without a doubt, Hamptons Angels should be a definite option if you are feeling overwhelmed with all of the work involved in owning a house or planning an event. They take the stress out of such tasks and let you enjoy the things that are more important in life.

The most recent Hampton Angels fete, which took place at the Upper East side outpost of Merchants’ introduced the new “Hampton Angels Signature Drinks” including the “Hampton Angels Martini,” “Samantha’s Highest Note” and the “Mani-Tini”--yes cocktails appropriately named in their honor--SWEET!

If you were in Manhattan Thursday, you may have seen Charles Ferri at his birthday bash in the Star Lounge or listened to Samantha Cole sing her new single “Angel of Mine” while DJ D-Nice entertained the crowd with his skills at Roomservice. I was out in the Hamptons, but heard that both events brought in huge crowds and a few celebrities such as Kid Rock and reporters from TMZ. Wonder when we’ll see that on their video show?
Friday night, the Hampton Angels hosted karaoke night at 75 Main in Southampton giving people the opportunity to show off their musical abilities in front of the crowd. Samantha Cole kicked off the night, singing her new single, as people ordered the ‘Blue Angel’ at the bar. It was nice to a see a crowd that wasn’t too shy to perform in front of strangers and especially professional talent. Monica Hughes, who performs at One Ocean every Thursday night in Bridgehampton, took the microphone displaying her great talent. After seeing her perform, I definitely want to check her out this Thursday!
I chatted with Mani Malee of Hampton Angels about the upcoming season and she told me that they have expanded to Miami, Las Vegas, and New York City. The ladies may also be a part of a new realty TV show still in negotiation. What an exciting year for the Angels! Join them at their 2008 kick-off party in Manhattan on April 10 at the Merchant’s Restaurant from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

The company, started by Cole and two pals, will help busy folks in the Hamptons keep their schedules straight.
"We do everything from hiring baby sitters to organizing reservations at restaurants," Cole told the Diary. "We plan activities for families and for Hamptonites hitting the clubs."
Despite the new project, Cole is not stepping out of the spotlight.
